Eau Claire (WQOW) - A crash that killed a woman leads to criminal charges against a Hayward man.

Sawyer County investigators say Jacob Collins pulled out from a side road onto Highway 77 in early July. His pickup truck hit a motorcycle and killed the passenger. She was from Ironwood, Michigan.

Investigators say Collins and his two passengers ran from the scene. Collins is now charged with hit and run causing death. He'll be in court Monday.
