Eau Claire (WQOW) - A local man accused of abusing his infant daughter is sentenced to do community service.

Kraig Link of Altoona was charged after his eight-month-old daughter was hospitalized in January. Doctors say the little girl was un-responsive, had fluid on the brain, and had eye damage that was indicative of the baby being shaken.

Prosecutors say she is now doing well.

Link pleaded guilty to child neglect and was ordered to do a month of community service. Any contact he has with his daughter must be supervised by an adult.
