Burnett County (WQOW) - A dangerous thrill-seeking activity leads to the death of a young man in Burnett County.
The sheriff says a group of five men were car-surfing late Saturday night. That's where someone rides on top of the car while someone else drives.
The sheriff says 21-year-old Shawn Swanson of St. Paul, Minn., fell off the vehicle onto the pavement and died. It happened on a town road north of Webster. The driver, 21-year-old Cole Fohrenkamm of St. Paul was arrested for homicide by drunk driving.
