AFTON, Minn. (AP) -- Authorities have confirmed the body pulled from the St. Croix River is that of a snowmobiler missing for more than two years.
Washington County sheriff's deputies were called Sunday about a body found in the river near Afton.
The Star Tribune reports authorities identified the body as that of 28-year-old Timothy Michael Pease of St. Croix Beach and Cottage Grove.
Pease had been missing since his snowmobile fell into open water in February 2010.
