Eau Claire (WQOW) - A plea bargain is reached with a bookkeeper accused of stealing from her boss.

Cheryl Shaffer was charged with stealing several thousand dollars from Augusta Meats. The owner also said the Fairchild woman had given herself a $2 an hour raise but he discovered that and corrected it.

On Tuesday in court Shaffer pleaded guilty. She must pay $550 restitution since insurance covered the rest of the loss. If she does not break any laws over the next year the felony charge will be dismissed.
