Eau Claire (WQOW) - A western Wisconsin woman and her daughter face homicide charges.
Tasha Kempfer and Michelle Johnson are charged in the death of Jeremiah Harris. The Trempealeau County man died of a heroin overdose last July.
According to the criminal complaint, Kempfer told investigators the three went to Madison to buy heroin. She said as soon as Harris snorted it he lost consciousness.
Kempfer then stopped at the Trempealeau Fire Department but rescuers could not revive Harris.
Both women are charged with reckless homicide.
