Bielema will name a starting QB on WednesdayMadison (WQOW) -- Wisconsin head coach Bret Bielema says he'll name a starting quarterback on Wednesday.
The Badgers have just two weeks left to work out any kinks before their season opener on September 1st. Saturday, the team held their first full scrimmage of the fall camp. Bielema said all three quarterbacks finished the scrimmage on a strong not, but says he's even more confident he knows who should start under center.
"During the course of the week and going through the day, I think I know where it's going," adds Bielema. "The numbers are pretty similar but there are some things that jump out that are big. I think for us to have success here at Wisconsin, I think our running back is going to be more than adequate. I think we'll piece together I think our throwing game today was pretty good. I think a lot of people are going to walk out of here impressed with what happened in the throwing game here today. I think we just need to have somebody who can manage that situation as best as possible."
Wisconsin opens the season up against Northern Iowa.
