MINNEAPOLIS (AP) -- A ride at the Minnesota State Fair malfunctioned again, a day after stranding 24 people about 100 feet off the ground for 40 minutes.

A fair spokeswoman says the Stratosphere unexpectedly stopped yesterday with people aboard, again for about 40 minutes. The ride's owner says the Stratosphere also had stoppages at the Wisconsin State Fair earlier this month.
