Volunteers needed to help prepare and serve meals in Eau Claire

Eau Claire (WQOW)- A local non-profit is putting out the call for help.  The Community Table in Eau Claire serves a free meal each day to anyone in need.

Without volunteers preparing and cooking the food serving those meals becomes much more difficult.  September is just around the corner and during the first part of the month The Community Table says it is especially in need of volunteers.

You'll find a list of the dates below. Volunteers are needed to cook and serve the food, wash dishes and also to clean tables and sweep and mop floors after the meal has been served.

Saturday Sept. 1         9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Sunday, Sept. 2          1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Monday, Sept. 3          9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Friday, Sept. 7th         3 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Saturday, Sept 8th     9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
