Altoona (WQOW) - Several houses and businesses in Altoona are without water this morning, due to a water service break. Crews were doing routine water operations around 9:00 a.m. Wednesday morning, when a water service was accidentally hit near the intersection of Bartlett and 5^th Street East. Several businesses and houses are without water service near that intersection, and all have been notified by the city. The city hopes to have water restored soon.
