Wis. officials say 14 have swine flu

MADISON (WKOW) – Health officials say 14 people in Wisconsin have been infected with a new strain of swine flu after exposure to pigs at the state or county fairs.

H3N2 can cause fever, lethargy, lack of appetite and coughing as well as vomiting and diarrhea.

The Department of Health Services says most who got sick are children. Although one child was hospitalized, all the victims are now recovering.

The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reports 276 cases of H3N2 flu in humans since July across 10 states.
