Sacred Heart Hospital begins annual coat and blanket drive

Posted:

Eau Claire (WQOW) - With temperatures in the 80's, winter coats might not be on your mind.

But tomorrow marks the start of the annual coat drive at Sacred Heart Hospital. Area residents are asked to drop off coats, gloves, and blankets. The items will then be donated to members of the community to need them the most.

"Our hospital has a definite commitment to community, and it extends beyond the hospital itself. We realize there are people in need; we provide millions of dollars each year in charity care. This is just yet another example of how we help support our community."

The hospital will begin accepting donations tomorrow morning. The last day to donate will be September 28th.
