Eau Claire (WQOW) - As many traveled this holiday
weekend, they weren't finding relief at the pump. But experts say that could be
on the way. A number of factors are likely to lower gas prices fairly
soon. First, the damage from Hurricane Isaac
is not believed to be serious, which should allow gulf coast refineries to get
back to work quickly. And as the summer
driving season ends, and refiners switch to cheaper winter blends of gasoline, prices
could drop by as much as 20 cents
a gallon over the next month or so.
