Hudson (WQOW) - A high-speed chase through the streets of a western Wisconsin city ends with a crash and handfuls of tickets for one driver.
Hudson police say an officer spotted Anthony Saraceno speeding in the city around 1 a.m. last Tuesday. They say he led them on a chase through residential areas and a city park.
Speeds hit about 65 mph in a 25 mph zone near downtown. Police say he almost hit a pedestrian in a crosswalk who had to jump out of the way. Saraceno also allegedly went the wrong way in two roundabouts, and ran 12 stoplights and stop signs. The chase eventually led to I-94 and into Minnesota, where the car crashed. Saraceno had some facial injuries.
He ended up getting 19 traffic tickets, including for drunk driving, reckless driving and fleeing an officer. He'll be in court next month.
