Chippewa Falls (WQOW) - The City of Chippewa Falls has approved a developer's agreement with a company on the move. SEH wants to relocate downtown.
The city has "tif" money it would use as an incentive for the company to move from its current spot off Highway 124.
The money is generated from an agreement Chippewa Falls has with the EOG Sand Plant, and it must be used to pay for improvements in the downtown area, or the Seymour Cray Boulevard area.
Right now, the building SEH is in, can handle about 65 employees. Its new home downtown could handle up to 80.
The agreement was reached in closed session Tuesday. More details could be released Wednesday.
