Menomonie (Press Release) - A motorcycle crash on I-94 has resulted in a death. The male driver, who was the only occupant, was pronounced dead at the scene. He was not wearing a helmet.

Around the time of the crash the area had received intermittent rain showers. Initial investigation has indicated that wet roadway conditions may have been a contributing factor.

The name of the driver is being withheld pending notification of family members.

Menomonie (WQOW) - A motorcycle crashed on westbound I-94 around 9:40 a.m. Friday killing the driver.

According to the Wisconsin State Patrol the motorcycle was traveling on westbound I-94 five miles west of Menomonie in Dunn County.

The Dunn County Sheriff's Department assisted in the crash. The crash remains under investigation by the Wisconsin State Patrol.
