Chippewa Falls (Press Release) - On 09/07/12 at
approximately 1:57 p.m. officers from the Chippewa Falls Police Department
responded to a 911 call of pedestrian versus vehicle crash at the intersection
of State Highway 124 and Woodward Avenue.
The driver of the vehicle, Tyler J. Schreiner, 22,
reported the incident. Schreiner stated he was northbound on State Highway 124 at the intersection of Woodward Avenue and had a green traffic signal when he collided with the
pedestrian who was crossing the highway.
The pedestrian, Jesse R Lloyd, 17, was
transported by Chippewa Falls Fire and Rescue to Mayo Hospital in Eau Claire
with non-life threatening injuries.
Neither speed nor alcohol is believed to be a
factor in the crash. The crash remains under investigation at this time.
