Price County (WQOW)- Authorities say two people are dead after their car veered off the road and hit multiple trees.

The Price County Sheriff's Department says it responded to a crash Friday night on Lound Road in the township of Prentice. It says the car was traveling southbound when it struck the trees. Both people were pronounced dead at the scene. Those names are not being released under the families have been alerted. The sheriff's department says the accident is still under investigation.
