Barron County (WQOW) - A town supervisor has survived a recall.

James Crotteau is on the Town of Sumner Board. That's in Barron County. He was the target of a recall because of his stance on frac sand mining. Petitioners were upset that he voted against a mining moratorium in January. On Tuesday, he defeated the challenger Ed Werts in a recall election by 30 votes, 180-150.
