WATERTOWN (WKOW) -- Authorities in Watertown say they're investigating a missing 16-year-old girl.
Watertown police say the girl's mother reported Rachel Heller missing on August 24.
Police say information they have received "does not indicate an involuntary abduction." According to a news release, police say Rachel left her house "without telling anyone and took with her an overnight bag."
Officials are investigating all possible leads to locate Rachel.
Watertown Police Chief Tim Roets says, "We are continuing the investigation regarding the circumstances
surrounding this matter. Our detectives are working with outside law
enforcement agencies and the investigation is ongoing at this time."
Anyone with information about Rachel's whereabouts is asked to call the Watertown Police Department at 920-261-6660.
