Multi-million dollar construction liens filed against Chippewa Sand

Chippewa County (WQOW)- Three multi-million dollar liens have been filed against a frac sand company.

Court records show that USA Tank Sales, which is based in Missouri, built a wet and dry sand plant for Chippewa Sand, which has both New Auburn and Bloomer addresses listed.  USA Tank sales filed three construction liens, saying Chippewa Sand owes it a total of $4.3 million.

It appears the work was finished in December of last year and March of this year.  We reached out to both companies.  USA Tank sales declined to comment on the dispute.  Chippewa Sand did not return our call.
