Eau Claire (WQOW) - A local man remains hospitalized Thursday after being seriously hurt in a workplace accident.
James Bender is listed in critical condition at a Rochester, Minn. hospital. Eau Claire police say his arm was nearly cut off when a 700 pound piece of steel fell on it.
It happened Wednesday morning while he was working at Cloeren Incorporated on the city's north side. OSHA sent an investigator to the scene Thursday.
