MADISON (WKOW) – The Dane County Medical Examiner's Office identified the man found dead on his bed on Wednesday.
Bruce G. Engendorf, 54-year-old of Madison, was found on his bed located in the garage of a residence located in the 4000 block of Maher Avenue.
Authorities said the death investigation began shortly after 7:20 p.m. on Wednesday September 19.
A forensic autopsy completed on September 20 disclosed injures inconsistent with initial information obtained at the scene from witnesses who discovered the decedent. Authorities said additional testing is underway in reference to this death investigation.
Director of Operations Barry Irmen said the preliminary autopsy results indicate that Mr. Engendorf's death was the result of blunt force trauma of the head.
