JANESVILLE
(WKOW) – Janesville police arrest a man for his 5th OWI offense
after stopping him for an unsafe lane deviation.
Janesville
Officer Eric Grahn witnessed a vehicle operating with an almost flat tire and
defective exhaust around 5:32 p.m. Saturday night.
Authorities
identified the driver as 52-year-old Timothy Graesslin from Janesville.
Police
said after Graesslin made an unsafe lane deviation, Grahn stopped the
vehicle. Grahn said he could smell a
strong odor of intoxicants and performed standardized field sobriety tests,
which Graesslin failed.
Authorities
said a breath test at the police department revealed Graesslin's blood alcohol
concentration of .22 percent. He is
currently being held at the Rock County Jail.
Janesville
police charged Graesslin with OWI 5th offense, operating with a
prohibited alcohol concentration, operating after revocation and operating
without adequate muffler.
