Eau Claire (WQOW) - One of three men accused of invading a Menomonie home at gunpoint is going to prison.
James Smith was sentenced Friday to 4 years behind bars. Smith and two others were accused of breaking into the home with plans to steal drugs and beat up the homeowner because they thought he had harmed a woman they knew. It happened last December.
Deputies say the men had a shotgun and a AK-47 assault rifle and a shot was fired but no one was hurt.
Cases against the other two suspects have not been resolved yet.
