Bloomer (WQOW) - An area high school student is dead after an early morning crash.
Jacob Skaw was a senior at Bloomer High School.
The Chippewa County Sheriff's Department says he was on his way to his job before class when his car left the road and rolled. It happened on Highway 40 north of Bloomer around 5:45 a.m. Monday morning.
The wreck wasn't discovered until more than an hour later.
The Bloomer superintendent says Jacob was involved in many school activities and was well-liked.
