Eau Claire (WQOW) - UW-Eau Claire has wrapped up its review of a former football coach and says there were no red flags.
Todd Hoffner is the Minnesota State Mankato football coach. He's been charged in a child pornography case, accused of creating videos of his three kids who were posing nude. Hoffner's wife and attorney have insisted the videos were innocent images of his children being silly.
Hoffner spent seven years as the head coach at UW-Eau Claire before leaving after the 2005 season. Based on the charges in Minnesota, UWEC started its own review. On Monday, a university representative said they interviewed former co-workers, reviewed electronic files and found no items that concerned them. Earlier this month, law enforcement said there was no evidence of child pornography on Hoffner's home computers.
