Menomonie (WQOW) - Three people are cut or stabbed during a weekend altercation at UW-Stout.

Campus police say it happened around 3 a.m. Sunday. Two small groups of people were passing each other on a sidewalk when someone was bumped and an argument began.

Three young men were injured by what police believe was a small knife. All three men went to the hospital and two needed stitches. Police say none of the victims were UW-Stout students.

The members of the other group fled and police have no suspects at this time.
