Eau Claire (WQOW) - Police say a woman admitted taking thousands of dollars from an Eau Claire business where she worked.
Justine Casas worked at the Eau Claire Tobacco Shop on Gateway Drive. Casas, of Elk Mound, is accused of taking more than $10,000 while working there last year.
The store manager went to police and showed them a note that was apparently signed by the store owner and Casas. The note acknowledged that she owed $15,000 and would pay it back and would also sign over the title to her vehicle.
Casas is charged with felony theft.
