JANESVILLE (WKOW) – A Janesville man was arrested early
Sunday morning for his 4th OWI Offense.
Janesville Police Officer Benjamin Thompson observed a 1987
Ford Bronco fail to stop at the flashing red traffic control signals at N.
Parker Drive and Centerway Street.
Officer Thompson made contact with the driver, 32-year-old
Pharon J. Voegeli of Janesville, and said Voegeli smelled of odor of
intoxicants.
Authorities said Voegeli failed a standardized field
sobriety test and was arrested for OWI.
The Department of Transportation records showed Voegeli has
three prior OWI convictions and a valid driving status.
Officials said a blood draw at the Mercy Hospital Emergency
Room was taken for testing. He was
transported to the Rock County Jail where he is being detained.
