ROCK COUNTY (WKOW) -- Rock Count authorities say a Janesville man has been arrested for his seventh drunk driving offense.
Janesville police say they were called to the area of N. Oakhill Avenue and W. Memorial Drive for a truck stopped in the roadway on Sunday around 11:00 a.m. Officials say a witness reported a drunk driver.
Officers arrested 54-year-old Robert Schumacher, who they first saw walking in the area.
Police performed a legal blood draw once Schumacher arrived at the Rock County Jail. The results of the blood test are unknown at this time.
Janesville police say Schumacher has six prior OWI convictions. He also had an outstanding arrest warrant through the Department of Corrections. He's currently being held in jail.
