President Obama to speak on UW-Madison campus on Thursday

MADISON (WKOW) -- President Barack Obama is making a campaign stop in Madison on Thursday.

The Obama campaign says the President will hold a grassroots event outside Bascom Hall on the UW-Madison campus. The doors open at noon Thursday.

The campaign says President Obama will focus on the economy and urge early voting during the stop.

The campaign stop is the day after the first debate between President Obama and his Republican challenger Mitt Romney at the University of Denver.

The event is free to the public, but you must RSVP.
