St. Croix County (WQOW) - The St. Croix County Board had three options to choose from as it determined the fate of a long-running issue.
The board could've voted to keep the current county-owned nursing home and reduce expenses. It could've also opted to close and sell. The third choice was to build. On Tuesday, the board voted 11-7 to build a new facility.
WQOW News 18 spoke with a board member about the cost of the project and the timetable. He said those things must still be determined.
