GREEN BAY (WKOW) -- Beer sales in Wisconsin are up for the first time since 2008.
The rebound is being driven by craft beer.
An industry group called The Beer Institute says craft beer sales are up 13%.
That's left brewers trying to keep up with demand by expanding their businesses.
"Our distribution spans about six states right now and we just can't make enough beer, so we just keep adding tanks and keep streamlining the process," says Bill Tressler, owner of Hinterland Brewery in Green Bay
Is the growing popularity of craft beer a sign of consumer confidence?
Or is it just a change in taste?
Economics experts say it's a little bit of both.
