Eau Claire (WQOW) - There's a sentencing this week for a string of business burglaries in Jackson County.

Aron Fogleson was sentenced this week to a year in jail. He was charged in the April burglaries of stores in Hixton, Taylor and Melrose. Losses for the stores were in the thousands of dollars due to stolen cigarettes and liquor and damage done by the thieves to gain entry.

The other suspect in the case, John Cook, is due in court at the end of the month. Both men are from Black River Falls.
