ROCK COUNTY (WKOW) – A Beloit man is arrested for his 4th OWI early Saturday morning after being stopped for a suspended driving status.
A Rock County Deputy stopped Carl Robinson, 36-year-old from Beloit, as he was driving in the area of S. CTH G and E. and Townline Road. The deputy ran a DOT check on the registration plate of Robinson's vehicle and it came back with a suspended driving status.
Authorities said when the deputy stopped Robinson's vehicle, the Deputy detected an odor of intoxicants on Robinson's breath. The deputy conducted field sobriety tests on Robinson, who failed the tests.
Authorities arrested Robinson for his 4th Offense OWI and issued citations for operating while revoked and open intoxicants.
Officials said Robinson was transported to the Rock County Jail where he was booked in and released with a court date.
