Janesville woman arrested for 4th OWI

ROCK COUNTY (WKOW) -- Police say a Janesville woman has been arrested for her fourth drunk driving offense.

Janesville police say an officer saw a vehicle speeding southbound on Milton Avenue around 12:45 a.m. Thursday morning. The officer stopped the vehicle, and while talking with the driver, noticed a strong odor of intoxicants on her break.

Officials say the driver, 27-year-old Melissa Rosenberg, admitted to drinking and failed field sobriety tests.

Police say Rosenberg was arrested for OWI 4th offense. She was then taken to a local hospital for a mandatory blood draw. Officials say the results of the test is unknown at this time.

Rosenberg was also cited for operating after revocation and for having no insurance.
