Black River Falls (Press Release) - The Jackson County
Sheriff's Office has released the names of the parties involved in the fatal
motorcycle crash that occurred late last week in Adams Township according to
Sheriff Duane Waldera.
As reported,
authorities from the Jackson County Sheriff's Office responded to a reported
crash on Wednesday, October 10th on USH-12 at Allen Creek Road. Upon
arrival, deputies found that a motorcycle had collided with a motor
vehicle at this location. The driver of the motorcycle subsequently died of
injuries sustained in the crash. No other injuries were reported.
The driver

Wisconsin. Rauk was later pronounced dead at the Black River Falls Memorial
Hospital.
The driver
of the vehicle involved has been identified as 25 year old Randi Rupnow of Taylor, Wisconsin. As reported no other injuries were sustained in this crash.
The
preliminary investigation conducted by authorities has found that Rauk was
operating his motorcycle under an instructional permit. Witness's interviewed
by authorities reported that Rauk was traveling well above the posted speed
limit prior to the crash. It is believed that Rupnow was making a turn into a
private driveway, which had her vehicle cross the lane Rauk was traveling in
when the collision occurred.
