DANE COUNTY (WKOW) -- Authorities say a 21-year-old Madison man has been arrested in connection with several residential burglaries in Dane County.
Officials warned citizens late last week about multiple daytime burglaries occurring in the western part of the county. Authorities say investigators made significant findings that brought them to Kunga Chokden.
Officials conducted a search warrant at Chokden's resident in the City of Madison, and detectives found a large quantity of evidence related to several of the burglaries.
Authorities say Chokden was booked into the Dane County Jail on Wednesday.
The Dane County Sheriff's Department says the crimes still remain under investigation. Authorities say Chokden has not been connected to all of the recent burglary cases.
Authorities continue to remind residents to lock their doors, windows and vehicles. Residents should be aware of neighborhood activity and report anything that appears to be suspicious by calling 911.
