Bloomer (WQOW) - Plans for a new elementary school in Bloomer are moving forward.

Bids for the project were due earlier this week. Four construction companies submitted bids for the work ranging from nearly $12.6 million to $13.3 million. The bids will be presented to the school board on Monday night. At that time, the board could pick one of the bids with construction on the new elementary school getting underway later this month.
