Pepin County (WQOW) - A county could get more time to do homework on frac sand.
An extension of Pepin County's one-year moratorium is on the table. The moratorium expires in December. A number of towns felt a six-month extension was needed to help them come up with regulations for frac sand operations. That proposal will go before the Pepin County Board of Supervisors next week.
