Wisconsin Democratic Chair on Capitol City Sunday

MADISON (WKOW) -- The Chair of the Democratic Party of Wisconsin says there's no question Joe Biden won Thursday night's Vice-Presidential debate.

DPW Chair Mike Tate is one of the featured guests on this weekend's edition of Capitol City Sunday.

Tate also says he's not surprised that Congresswoman Tammy Baldwin is still ahead of former Republican Governor Tommy Thompson in the race for U.S. Senate.

"We have Tammy Baldwin, who's spent a career fighting for middle-class families, fighting for health care and good jobs, versus Tommy Thompson, who's become a lobbyist in chief if you will," said Tate.  "He's gone off and lined his pockets with millions of dollars from pharmaceutical companies."

But conservative columnist Christian Schneider believes Republicans are still in good shape in Wisconsin, specifically in state legislative races.

Schneider also joins Capitol Bureau Chief Greg Neumann this Sunday at 9:00 a.m. on WKOW 27.
