CITY OF BEAVER DAM (WKOW) -- The Beaver Dam Police Department responds to an armed bank robbery at Associated Bank in the City of Beaver Dam. They're now searching for a suspect.
According to police, the suspect in the incident is described as a white male, about 170 pounds. The suspect appeared to be unshaven with a stubble beard and was wearing a dark colored jacket or fleece. Police say the suspect was also wearing blue jeans and primarily black tennis shoes.
The suspect ran away after the robbery. According to police, during the robbery the suspect produced a small, black handgun from a plastic grocery bag. The suspect left with an undisclosed amount of money.
