LA CROSSE (WKOW) -- La Crosse police credit a local car dealer with helping them catch a homicide suspect.
Jeffry Lepsch, 39, faces two counts of first degree intentional homicide. Police say he shot and killed a father and son in their downtown La Crosse camera store, then stole more than $16-thousand worth of merchandise.
Police reviewed surveillance video from around the crime scene when looking for suspects, and called on a local car dealer to help them identify the suspect's van.
Rahn Pischke, owner of Pischke Motors, noticed that there was an upside down trailer hitch on the back of the van, which led authorities to Lepsch.
