ROCK COUNTY (WKOW) -- Rock County officials say two men have been arrested after they seized $30,000 of marijuana.
Officials say they executed a drug search warrant on the 900 block of E. Mallwood Drive in Fulton Township on Monday. The search warrant was issued after investigators received a tip of a possible indoor pot growing operation.
Officials say while searching the residence, they found a marijuana growing operation in a second story bedroom and a processing area in the basement. Police say the growing operation included potting soil, chemicals, grow lights, two portable horticultural grow rooms, venting and air filtration system and literature describing how to cultivate marijuana. The drug paraphernalia seized are consistent of items used to facilitate the growing and cultivation of marijuana indoors.
Authorities say they seized 29.8 pounds of marijuana at different stages of processing. The approximate street value of the pot is $30,000.
Officials say the Justin Mayo and Sean Slusser, both 28 years old, were arrested for Manufacturing of THC, Possession with Intent to Deliver THC and Maintaining a Drug House.
Both are expected to appear in Rock County Court Tuesday afternoon.
