No ID for body found by Ladysmith railroad tracks

Ladysmith (Press Release) - On Oct. 10, 2012 at approximately 4:55 p.m. the Ladysmith Police Department and Rusk County Sheriff's Department responded to a report of a body found on the Canadian National Railroad tracks within the City of Ladysmith in Rusk County.

The body is of a white male, approximately 30-40 years old, about 5 feet 5 inches tall and roughly 123 pounds with shoulder length brown curly hair.  The man was wearing black size 31 dress pants, a black button-up dress shirt, flannel underpants, a black and silver tie and slip on black dress shoes.

There was no identification on the body but there were two receipts: one from the Chippewa Falls Kwik Trip dated April 2012, and a receipt from a McDonald's in Eau Claire dated August 2012.

The man's fingerprints were submitted for identification but no matches came back.

If anyone has information regarding a missing person or observed anyone on the railroad tracks in the City of Ladysmith on October 10, 2012, please contact the Ladysmith Police Department at 715-532-2186.

The death is being investigated by the Ladysmith Police Department and Rusk County Coroner's Office. Please direct information to Ladysmith police Lt. Kevin G. Julien.
