Eau Claire (WQOW) - A Neillsville man accused of firing a gunshot that struck a neighbor's house is sentenced in Clark County.
Investigators say Eric Ostrander was intoxicated when he got into an argument with his wife. They say he then fired a handgun out his door. A neighbor who lived 1,000 feet away reported a bullet came through the kitchen window and hit above a living room doorway. No one was hurt in the incident last December.
Ostrander pleaded guilty Wednesday to endangering safety with a dangerous weapon. He was fined, must get any necessary counseling, and cannot drink or have guns during six months of probation.
