Eau Claire (WQOW) - A first-of-its kind drug bust in western Wisconsin ends with federal prison time for an area man.

A sentence was handed down Wednesday for Jeff Marg of Fall Creek. Marg was sentenced to 4 years in prison. Marg and another man were charged with making synthetic marijuana and 'bath-salts' in northwestern Wisconsin. They were then sold on the internet and in Eau Claire.

Investigators say Marg admitted buying chemicals from international and domestic sources to make the drugs.
