Taylor County (WQOW) - A man from Withee has died after being struck by a vehicle after his own vehicle hit a deer.
Ronald Sperling, 73, died.
The Taylor County Sheriff's Office said Sperling's vehicle hit a deer Thursday morning on Highway 73. Sperling pulled onto the shoulder to look for the animal. A co-worker also stopped to help.
The sheriff's office said the co-worker crossed the road to search for the deer and was followed by Sperling. Sperling was hit by a vehicle walking across the road.
