MADISON (WKOW) -- A Madison woman will spend 18 months in prison after being convicted on felony pimping and pandering charges.
Twenty-one-year-old Kayla Powers was sentenced Wednesday in Dane County Court.
She'll also face 42 months of extended supervision after her jail stint.
According to the criminal complaint, Powers admitted to making $1,500 a day prostituting, and that girls came to her to make money, including a teenager.
She also admitted getting 30 percent of whatever the girls made.
Powers was renting rooms at a Super 8 Motel off the Beltline to help facilitate her business.
